ABOUT THIS WINE The Mendel vineyards are located in Perdriel and Mayor Drummond at between 900 and 1100 meters above sea level in Luján de Cuyo. Vines are planted at relatively high density (5,555 vines/ha) and planted with a north-south orientation. Grapes are hand picked and sorted and macerated in small fermentation tanks of 50-80 hl. ABOUT THIS PRODUCERMendel is an old bodega situated at Drummond, Mendoza, built in 1928 and which was bought by the Sielecki family in 2002. They employed the highly respected Roberto de la Mota to make the wines.
